RACING Queensland officials have processed dozens of nominations for some of the remaining qualifiers in the Battle of the Bush series.
Bowen, Cloncurry, Goondiwindi and Mareeba will be host venues for qualification events on June 1. Barcaldine will stage the final qualifier on June 8 ahead of the $125,000 series final at Eagle Farm in Brisbane on June 22.
Trainer Olivia Cairns dominates the Bowen event with three nominations - Egyptian Bear, Point Forward and Stellar Knight.
John Manzelmann (Sweet Surprise and The Greatest) and Renee Schulenz (Exceedingly Kool and Little Stryker) have two apiece along with Nippy Seymour (Kahuna), Ronald Finch (Kap It Off) and Wayne Pomfrett (Oakfield Castle).
Thirteen horses have been entered for the Cloncurry qualifier and trainers Henry Forster (Heroism and Zendaye), Tanya Parry (Ready Zaim Fire and Wicked Wiki) and Robert Burow (Galea Warrior and Good Job Bro) have dual representation.
Other entrants are: Alfiarto, Chief Advocate, Clateau, Damgoodchoice, Deadly Choices, Mandalong Pass and Safdie.
The Schulenz-trained stablemates Exceedingly Kool and Little Stryker have also been nominated for the Mareeba race as well as Ahern, Backtospec, Banshee Jet, Coutanville, Craiglea Aldi, Grand Archer, Keen Instinct and Starena.
Miles marvel Fab's Cowboy will be a pronounced favourite if trainer Bevan Johnson runs him in the Goondiwindi qualifier, which has attracted 18 entries including Marksfield, and David Reynolds' pair Music Scene and Tapestry Vision.
Other Goondiwindi entries are: Baker Boy, Canid, Choppa, Cliveden, Daytime Dancer, Drum Master, Go Get Sum, Golovkin, Hanover Square, Mac's Boy, Man Overboard, Mr Pumblechook, Naranja and Noor Dropper.
Acceptances for each of the qualifiers will be taken at 10am on May 30.
