Jackie Trad's shock resignation on Saturday has left the Palaszczuk government racing to swear in a new-look cabinet.
Ms Trad stood down as Deputy Premier and Treasurer following news the Crime and Corruption Commission were investigating allegations she played a role in the appointment of the principal for a new school in her South Brisbane electorate.
She has denied the claim and said she "never expressed a view to anyone on who should fill that role".
This is the second time Ms Trad has been investigated by the CCC in the past 12 months.
Health Minister Steven Miles has been sworn in as Deputy Premier, with Cameron Dick taking on the role of Treasurer.
Tourism Minister Kate Jones will handle the state development portfolio and Gladstone MP Glenn Butcher is joining cabinet as the Regional Development and Manufacturing Minister.
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander department will now be handled by Fire and Emergency Services Minister Craig Crawford.
Governor Paul de Jersey conducted the socially-distanced swearing-in ceremony at Government House on Monday.
