Natalea Summers and Hannah Phillips will be busy jockeys

She will ride three horses for trainer Angela Stephens at Callaghan Park, just as she did in Emerald on May 2. Additionally, Summers will be aboard two runners for Mackay-based John Manzelmann and another for Basil Ryan.

Summers and Stephens will team with Ladyeye in the XXXX Gold Maiden (1050m), Gladishing in the Spotlightonregion4 Handicap (1600m) and Annmarie in the Maiden Plate (1400m).

Ladyeye (Rothesay-Klairefontaine) finished third in a similar event at Callaghan Park on April 24 with Summers in the saddle. It was Ladyeye's third minor placing since the end of March.

Gladishing (Publishing-Gladiatrix) has managed only one win in a lengthy career but her solitary success was at Callaghan Park and she finished close to the placegetters last time out on April 21.

Summers and Annmarie (Ferocity-Maltie) have been placed in their past two outings together- running third over 1050m when the five-year-old resumed from a summer break on March 14 before Stephens stepped her up to 1600m on April 14 when narrowly beaten.

Summers has been riding consistently for Stephens while the trainer's husband John continues to recover from injury.

Ryan has Graceful Gift (Bryannbo's Gift-Graceful Symphony) entered for the Rum City Foods Class 4 Plate (1400m).

A winner twice and placed on another six occasions, Graceful Gift returned from a short-let up on March 14 in Bundaberg.

Manzelmann has engaged Summers for the Darley Stud-bred District (Lonhro-Dominions) in the Open Handicap (1200m) and Dutch Rocket (Dutch Harry-Alberta) in the QTIS Three-Year-Old (1200m).

District needs to lift. He has failed to win in nine starts this year, finishing closest when beaten less than a length into third spot over 1100m in a Benchmark 58 race in Mackay three starts back on March 31.

Dutch Rocket, on the other hand, ran third on his home track three starts back on March 14 and has since run respectably at Callaghan Park on April 14 and in Mackay on April 28.

On the same day Summers will be in action at Callaghan Park, Kilkivan trainer Kym Afford will send seven of his big team to Bundaberg for respective appointments.

Elusive Element (Red Element-Chavanel) will contest the Benchmark 55 (1600m) with Hannah Phillips to ride, who will also partner Atomic Missile in the Benchmark 60 (1090m), Leica Firecracker in the Benchmark 55 (850) and Axis in the Benchmark 50 (1212m) for the Afford stable.

Hannah Richardson will be aboard Carrock for Afford in the same event as Leica Firecracker and Natalie Morton will be on Gossiaux against Atomic Missile and Modern Family in the same race as Axis.

"They're all going well," said Afford, who faces more than four hours on the road travelling to and from the races.

"Elusive Element has run second at his last two runs up there in Bundy and he is in good shape."

Phillips will also be riding Altar and Al's Brief to complete a full book of six mounts.
