Emerald agents yarded a much smaller number than last week with just 800 head on offer on June 22.
A mixed quality yarding of store cattle was evident with slaughter cattle in good prime condition.
Bullocks over 550kg made to 292c/kg to average 282c, with steers 500-550kg reaching 295c to average 279c, steers 400-500kg made 295c to average 279c, while steers 350-400kg reached 301c to average 280c, 280-350kg steers made to 361c to average 313c, while steers in the weaner weight ranges made to 347c to average 310c.
Heifers over 400kg reached 293c to average 275c, with heifers 350-400kg making to 300c to average 280c, heifers in the 280-350kg bracket made to 319c to average 280c, while heifers in the weaner weight ranges made to 335c to average 295c.
Cows over 520kg reached 229c to average 222c, while cows 450-520kg reached 209c to average 201c. No cows and calves were penned this week.

Rob and Kylie Cunningham, Myrtle Park, Comet sold Santa cross cows to 226c to weigh 588kg or $1330. Ken and Evelyn O’Brien, Myrtle Park, Comet sold Santa cows to 224c to weigh 600kg or $1345.
The Bradley family, Lindley Downs, Springsure consigned Brahman cows to 222c to weigh 549kg or $1221.
