Marketing agent Michael Tomlinson, Ray White Rural Toowoomba, said eight parties had registered to bid on the property and negotiations were continuing.
The property has a mixture of self-mulching black and red alluvial soils with small stony outcrops on the hill faces. About 80ha has previously been cultivated but is currently used for pasture to accommodate an Angus stud.
The 100 year old, three bedroom Queenslander homestead has the potential to become a stand out in the area.
There is also a large machinery shed, a dairy that has been converted into a stable and an old dairy shed.
