THE Roma district property Ned's Paddock has sold at auction for $3.35 million.
Located 70km north of Roma on Ashney Road at Bymount, the 1327 hectare (3278 acre) property is in three freehold titles.
The sale price is equal to about $2524/ha ($1022/acre).
Marketing agent John Sims, Ruralco Property GDL Real Estate, said there were 13 inspections of the property with three parties active during the auction.
The property was previously timbered with brigalow, belah, bottle tree, wilga and sandalwood, with box along the waterways.
Ned’s Paddock is now well established with mainly buffel, blue grass and native species, as well as seasonal herbages.
Water is supplied from a bore and three dams.
