THE Outback Barbarians turned its highly anticipated Rocky Mountains clash into a near training run, drilling a depleted Banff Bears side 83-7.
Piling on 13 tries to one, the tourists were forced to lend the local side eight players to allow the scheduled match to go ahead.
The win makes it three in a row on the Barbarians' eight match 2016 Canada/US tour.
The games also saw the very welcome return of captain Tom Beattie (Sunshine Coast) who delivered plenty of hard runs and was rewarded with a try under the posts.
Fly half Ross Morrissey (Gold Coast) in a man of the match performance dominated the midfield and controlled the outside backs. He also landed 18 points in conversions.
The Barbarians led 50-0 at the break, with the forwards showing more control at the breakdown compared to the previous two outings.
Flyer Jesse James (Hughenden) scored a double. Other try scorers were Daren Breen (Caloundra), Andre Van Staden (Toowoomba), Paul Tema (Gladstone), Luke Bertram (Mackay), Brendon Ralph (Toowoomba), Jackson Brown (Longreach), Angus Dunn (Mudgee) and Shaun Arnold-Brown (US).
Bears hooker Liam Leung (Wales) saved the local side from a duck egg about 10 minutes from the end, scoring wide out after a period of sustained pressure from the Banff forwards.
Best on field for the Bears was No10 Tom Parish.
The Dyno Nobel Queensland Outback Barbarians line up against the Clansmen in Edmonton on July 2. The Barbas go into the match injury free.
