The stud cattle section of the Taroom show saw some fierce competition amongst exhibitors, with a Meandarra stud taking top honours in both the champion interbreed and Super Bull contest.
Elite Cattle Co were the standouts from the stud cattle competition, winning grand champion interbreed bull with their grand and senior champion Bos Taurus bull Elite Quittin' Time, narrowly edging out the grand and junior champion of the Bos Indicus category, Whitaker Mr Cruiser.
The big black Simmental, Elite Quittin' Time, proved to be both the crowd and judges favourite, also taking home the Super Bull challenge.
Elite Cattle Co also won both grand and reserve junior champion Bos Taurus bull with Elite Scorcher and Elite Shakedown, as well as first place in the Bos Taurus breeders group.
Clint and Robyn Whitaker, Whitaker Brahmans, Mundubbera, also had a stellar day in the ring coming out on top in the Bos Indicus breeders group.
Senior champion Bos Indicus bull went to Darren and Helen Childs with Glenlands D Call of Duty, with reserve senior champion going to Duarra Rocky BB, exhibited by Ian and Anne Galloway.
Reserve junior champion Bos Indicus bull went to Junction Vale Hustler, exhibited by Charles Cattle Co.
Reserve senior champion Bos Taurus bull was Benjarra Rant & Rave, exhibited by Ben Passmore.
Senior and grand champion Bos Taurus female was awarded to Elite Sheila Q130, with reserve senior champion going to Hamilton Park Quote.
Junior champion Bos Taurus female went to Jen-Daview Sonya of Jen-Daview Limousins, while Benjarra Raspberry Kahlua, exhibited by Ben Passmore, took home reserve junior champion.
Senior and grand champion Bos Indicus female was won by Darren and Helen Childs with Glenlands D Bells 'n' Whistles, while DB & KJ Phillips took home reserve senior champion with Murgona Nutmeg.
Junior champion Bos Indicus female was awarded to Ramsey Creek Layla, with Clint and Robyn Whitaker winning reserve junior champion with Whitaker Miss Sherry.
