The Toowoomba Showgrounds is a buzz with activity as the Nutrien Supreme Horse Sale got underway, with the first 30 broodmares set to sell on Friday evening from 6pm.

In all, a total of 374 horses will go under the hammer over the next three days, with the sale starting at 8am sharp on Saturday and Sunday.

Nutrien Ag Solution's Injune agent, Brodie Hurley will be making his debut to the Nutrien Equine auctioneers podium at this Supreme Sale.

Mr Hurley has been involved in the horse industry for the past 15 to 20 years through campdrafting.

"With another cracking line up of incredible horses for this years sale, we're certainly looking forward to a fabulous few days of selling," he said.

Queensland Country Life will have an early report on the sale results later this evening and further reports on Saturday and Sunday.
