Widespread rainfall has been recorded throughout Queensland with storms helping to fill in the gaps for rural producers and leaving many of them smiling.
Tom Nixon of Devon Court at Drillham reports they received 100mm of rain in the biggest single event he can remember.
"It is unbelievable - we were hoping and it delivered," Mr Nixon said.
He said they have terrific grass cover and it held up with the heavy downpour, and all dams are now full.
"We had planted sorghum at Jay Dee and Boorameal about three weeks ago and both properties received good falls. A total of 86mm fell at Jay Dee, while Boorameal received 33mm," he said.
Warwick and Sophie Cooper, Donnabar south of Wallumbilla, received 20mm in a wild storm on Friday night and another 42mm on Sunday.
Mrs Cooper said it was wonderful to receive such a good fall.
"The buffel grass will be jumping out of the ground," she said.
The Wallumbilla Creek has certainly got a good run in it and it will be a while before we can get to the back of our property."
There have been reports of between 70 to 100mm in the Dalby district and 60mm plus in the Chinchilla district.
Katie Lloyd, reported on Who Got the Rain website they has received 86mm overnight on Monday at Wieambilla, 30 kilometres south west of Chinchilla.
Graham Blanch, Charnelle Charolais near Gatton, received 38mm on Sunday and nothing since.
Mr Blanch said his dams has already been filled from heavier rain which fell in early October.
In central Queensland the town of Rockhampton received 90mm overnight of Tuesday, while Wendy Cole, Kenrol, Gracemere received 72mm.
Reports of up to 38mm were received in the Clarke Creek district, and up to 80mm at Gundaroo Station in the Nebo district.
Cathy Hoare, Rockview, Bluff, reported a fall of 81mm at the house.
An early morning storm on Tuesday delivered between 23 to 45mm in the Belyando Crossing district, while Avon Downs received an unexpected 75mm situated 150 north of Clermont.
A significant weather system is expected to bring widespread rain and storms across much of Queensland and NSW from Wednesday until Friday.
