Organiser Courtney Bylett said they'd raised over $40,000, the most ever for the gala evening, resulting in a collective amount of $100,000 for the service.
"It was an outdoor event, which made it easier to have more people," she said. "The frozen cocktail machine was working flat out, and there was no bad song to sit down and have a rest in."
