Recording their best ever result, vendors the Atkinson and Prentice families, Cardona and Jamar studs, saw classified bulls hit $65,000 twice while their heifer counterparts made to $20,000.
Conducted on property, Cardona, Blackwater, the sale produced a record $17,085 average for males and a $12,400 average for the females to record a 97 per cent clearance for bulls and a total clearance for females.
First to make $65,000 was the 24-month-old Cardona Ulladulla (P), a 996 kilogram son of the retained Cardona Perfecto (P).
He posted scans of 12mm and 10mm, respectively, for P8 and rib fat, 140 square centimetres for eye muscle area, and 5.2pc for intramuscular fat and sold to Craig Hindle, Bullamakinka stud, Toobeah, via phone.
The next at the same figure was the 22-month-old, Cardona Uno (P) selling to the Ellevsen family, Woodleigh stud, Woodenbong, New South Wales.
The 838 kilogram son of Cardona Mambo (P) produced scans of 11mm and 7mm, respectively, for P8 and rib fat, 142sq cm for EMA, and 4.3pc for IMF.
Two fetched sums of $60,000. First of these was Cardona Upper (P) (24-months), selling to Tony and Louise Prentice, Jamar stud, Emerald.

Matching that figure was the 30-month-old Cardona Toddy (PS) going to the Dunlop stud, Proston.
Top selling Jamar entry was the $55,000 Jamar Renegade (AI) (P) (Glenn Oaks Jibba) (22-months) offered by the Prentice family and selling to a partnership between the Yarrawonga and Diamond H studs.
Jamar's 10 heifers concluded the sale with a two-state buying panel.
Top of the heifers was the Glenn Oaks Jibba daughter, Jamar Ribbon (AI) (P) (22-months) selling to Rob and Lorraine Sinnamon, Riverina stud, Kyogle, NSW.
