Of the 393 bulls that were sold under the hammer at the Droughtmaster National Bull Sale last week, 19 of those were knocked down for bids ranging from $35,000 to $150,000 by selling agents Elders, Nutrien, and Grant Daniel and Long.
While it may seem like a small portion of the overall draft, at only 4 per cent, their collective value of $1,180,500 made up almost 21pc of the sale's gross of $5,647,500.
The top performers represented a wide range of vendors and genetics, and attracted winning bids from both stud and commercial buyers.
