Testing will get underway this morning at the Longreach Showgrounds following news that a flight attendant who travelled on a Brisbane-Longreach QantasLink flight has tested positive to COVID-19.
The Queensland Country Life understands that all passengers on the Sunday, July 11 flights QF 2534 and QF 2535 between Brisbane and Longreach and return have been asked to get tested and quarantine at home.
It's understood that 19 of those passengers were tested at a drive-through clinic set up at the Longreach Hospital on Thursday evening.
The showgrounds clinic will be open from 9am this morning.
Any comment on the case has to come from Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young in her daily COVID briefing.
