AN Australasian Speckle Park heifer record was established at the third JAD stud sale, Yeoval, on Friday at $40,000.

The Pregnancy tested in calf heifer, JAD L260 Unique Q33 (ET) was purchased by return buyers Tony and Liz Sutcliffe, Toebelle Speckle Park, Duns Creek near Paterson.

In the record-breaking total auction clearance JAD sale, Yeoval, on Friday March 26, 23 stud bulls topped at $34,000 (twice) to average $18,261. Last year 22 averaged $7591.

Twelve commercial bulls averaged $11,500; all 26 PTIC stud heifers sold to $40,000 to average $18,115; 20 commercial F2 and F3 heifers to $5000 to average 4313, 16 Embryos to $2600, average $2250, and 70 semen straws to $225, average $168.
