Roma's Picnic Race Club committee made up for lost time on Friday night, hosting a glorious 1920s themed ball on Friday night.
The event was one of the first in the Maranoa to fall victim to the COVID lockdown a year ago, which gave organisers plenty to time to plan this year's welcome to what's fondly known as the locals' favourite Roma race meeting.
President Danny Wells urged the 500-strong partygoers to "get their Gatsby on" in the cocktail setting with live entertainment by Groove Elements.
