Police are confident that they have made a significant dent in the drug network in south west Queensland following the arrest of four people this week.
The arrests were made by officers from the Morven and Augathella police stations as part of Operation Tango Payson, which targeted dangerous drug transportation and supply throughout the Charleville police district.
As well as seizing a large quantity of drugs, drug paraphernalia and cash, a total of 19 charges were laid.
Those charged include a 60-year-old Augathella woman who police will allege orchestrated the operation.
She was charged with eight counts of supplying dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs, possession of property acquired through proceeds of drugs, possessing drug utensils and possessing drug items.
A 57-year-old Augathella man was charged with possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils.
They will both appear in the Charleville Magistrates Court on April 27.
A 33-year-old Augathella man and a 21-year-old Morven woman have each been drug diverted in relation to offences of possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils.
