The first race meet of the season for the Central Warrego Race Club, the St Mary's Race Day, took place at Charleville on Saturday.
In an interesting twist on the Fashions on the Field concept, silent judges undertook their judging duties virtually, being sent photos of the entrants as they arrived for the day.
There were 25 entrants for the best dressed lady, a great result for the first race meet of the season.
The weather was warm which resulted in a lot of summer fashions still in play - light, bright colours, and floaty boho dresses predominated.
DJ Curley played well into the night with around 150 racegoers staying to party on.
Central Warrego Club president Brad Lines was happy with the turnout and behaviour of the crowd as the night continued, made even happier when the Railways Cricket Club, fresh from a grand final win over the Quilpie Magpies, joined the crowd after their game to celebrate.
