According to selling agent Ben Forrest of the Resolute Property Group, Fairymount Station is well grassed and ready to be stocked.

"It consists of 7853 hectares and is 38 kilometres north west of Bungunya," Mr Forrest said.

"The country is capable of running 800 to 1000 head of breeder cattle."

He described the country as a mixture of undulating brigalow, belah, box, sandalwood and wilga with much of the property cleared and established to Mitchell, blue grass and buffel.

"The soil consists of red belah and about one-third of the property is brigalow," he said.

"There is a quality PMAV white-dominant map with strategic shadelines.

"Fairymount Station has been held by the Gerhardt family for the past 22 years and they are now looking to sell to relocate elsewhere."

The property is well watered by a bore and 15 dams, and the country is well fenced with a near-new central laneway system, with some exclusion fencing.

Infrastructure on Fairymount Station includes two homes including a larger five-bedroom homestead and a three-bedroom home.

There is also a machinery shed, steel cattle yards capable of processing the country's carrying capacity, sheep yards and a woolshed.

Mr Forrest said there was good access to the property. The Bungunya area is located immediately north of the Macintyre River, which is the border between Queensland and NSW.

The Barwon Highway from St George to Goondiwindi passes from east to west immediately to the north of the town, while the Meandarra - Talwood Road is north of the Barwon Highway, and the Moonie Highway gives access to Roma and Dalby Saleyards.
