There were 992 cattle from Queensland offered online last week.

Queensland cattle numbers totalled 992 head last week. Purchasing was dominated by southern Queensland, with the region securing 722 head.

Cows with calves at foot achieved 100 per cent clearance last week, with prices ranging between $1620 and $3510/head, averaging $2542/head.

From Jandowae, a line of station mated Angus cows and calves aged eight to 13 years returned $3155/head. The cows weigh 580kg and will travel to Warwick.

Light heifers weighing under 200kg sold from 577c, to 815c/kg, averaging 690c/kg.

A line of Angus cross / Angus weaned heifers aged five to seven months weighing 176kg from Millmerran returned 625c/kg.

Heifers weighing 200-280kg ranged from 462c to 657c/kg, to average 558c/kg.

A line of 80 Charolais/Brahman cross and Santa cross heifers from Miles topped the category. The heifers ranged from five to 16 months old, averaged 200kg.

Light steers weighing under 200kg sold from 290c to 762c/kg, averaging 608c/kg.

A line of Angus cross weaned steers, five to seven months old, weighing 177kg from Millmerran returned 654c/kg.

Steers weighing 200-280kg sold between 504c and 606c/kg, averaging 573c/kg. A highlight from Millmerran included a line of 18 Angus and Angus cross steers, five to seven months old, weighing 215kg, which returned 604c/kg.

There were no Queensland sheep listings to report from commercial sales last week.
