Cows with calves at foot sold from $1450 to $3800/head, averaging $2865/head, back $29 from the previous week. The top price out of Queensland went to a line of EU accredited Santa cross cows and calves from Surat, which sold for $2610/head.
Heifers under 200kg sold from 442c to 570c, to average 499c, down 28c. The top price was a line of crossbred heifers from Tambo, aged five to 13 months, weighing 196kg.
Heifers 200-280kg sold from 343c to 761c, to average 466c, down 36c. Speckle Park/Angus heifers, aged six to eight months and weighing 227kg from Millmerran sold for 569c.
Heifers 280-330kg sold from 336c to 582c, to average 434c, up 2c. Santa Gertrudis/ Charolais NSM future breeder heifers from Southwood weighing 284kg returned 490c/kg.
Steers 200-280kg sold from 336c to 625c, to average 492c, down 7c. Crossbred steers from Tambo aged five to 13 months, weighing 204kg, sold for 587c.
Steers 280-330kg sold from 252c to 601c, to average 483c, down 16c. Angus backgrounder steers from Charleville weighing 289kg returned 526c.
Feeder steers 330-400kg sold from 334c to 504c, to average 440c, down 31c. Santa Gertrudis/Braham feeder steers from Duaringa weighing 353kg returned 453c/kg.

Queensland sheep numbers increased by 3813 head to total 10,794 head.
Young Merino breeders (two to four years) ranged between $189 and $330/hd, to average $269/hd, up $17 week-on-week. Three-year-old ewes with lambs at foot from Dirranbandi weighing 72kg returned $302/hd.
Prices for Merino wether lambs remained steady, with an average of $135/hd and prices ranging from $100 to $158/hd. May/Jun drop wether lambs from Charleville weighing 36kg returned $143/hd.
Store lambs eased 3c to average 405c. A line of Jul/Sept '20 drop, 29kg, Dorper/Dorper mixed sex shedding breed lambs from Morven sold for $155/hd, or 532c.
