CATTLE producers were brimming with confidence at the second day of the Rockhampton Brahman Week Sale, with quality bulls in extremely strong demand.
Grey Brahmans maintained the strong consistency, finishing with 495 grey sire offered over the two day sale, with 477 bulls sold, for a clearance rate of 96 per cent, averaging $11,734, and grossing $5.597m.
Red Brahmans continued the momentum, with 59 of the 60 offered selling to represent a 98 per cent clearance, to average $13,678.
The top priced red of $90,000 was Brahrock Raydar 6163 purchased by Rockley Brahmans.
The remaining Red Brahmans will be sold on Wednesday morning starting at 8am.
