Sommer Brothers, Maleny, sold Fresian heifers for $1780 and cows for $1760. Robert Patrick, Brendale, sold Shorthorn cows for $1400.
James Christianson, Linville, sold Santa cows for $1500. Adam and Kerry Lees, Maleny, sold the top cow and calf, with a Charolais unit selling for $1780. John Chambers, Neurum, sold a Santa bull for $2450.
Peter and Julie Gee, Moorina, sold lines of Droughtmaster steers, 12-14 months, for $1225. Bob Nicholls, Woodford, sold Droughtmaster steers, 20 months, for $1480. Bill Duncan, Mt Delaney, sold Droughtmaster steers for $1120.
Julie Hughes, Wootha, sold a line of Red Angus steers, 20-24 months, for $1440. Kew Farms, Cambroon, sold 4 to 5-month-old mixed breed calves, with steers making $790 and heifers $660.
