Cattle producers arrived at the CQLX Gracemere on Tuesday, hoping to either buy up big, or sell up big at the annual sale.
Droughtmaster breeders came looking to buy top quality bulls for their stud and commercial herds, to improve their genetics.
The National Droughtmaster Association also acknowledged and awarded the Droughtmaster Society Life Membership to Ed & Carol McCormack.
The McCormack's established the Clonlara Stud #71 and were today recognized for their decades of dedication and continued support to the Droughtmaster breed.
Day one spectators witnessed history in the making, with the purchase of Lot 111: Rondel Whiskey (P), which sold for an eye watering $160,000.
With just the first day of the sale done and dusted, in the crowd were plenty of familiar faces, with many long-standing breeders making the trip to Gracemere to sit in on the two-day sale.
