Brahman heifers sell for $1160 at Laidley

Murray Jensen, Fernvale, sold Charbray cows and calves for $1900. John and Beverley Sutton, Fordsdale, sold Charolais cows for $1500 and Charbray steers, 10-12 months, for $1035-$1190.

Larry Williams, Kilcoy, sold a line of Murray Grey cows for $1370, heifers for $950 and steers for $1270-$1360. Bruce DiAmbrosis, Pine Mountain, sold a Droughtmaster bull for $1950, cows for $1310 and heifers for $1140.

Hoger Brothers, Ropeley, sold seven-month-old Charolais steer calves for $1005 and six-month-old calves for $950. Rob and Karen Gudgeon, Ringwood, sold a line of 10-month-old Brangus steers for $920.

Ken Busteed, The Bluff, sold Limousin steer calves for $820 and heifers for $750. Emily Stariha, Mulgowie, sold a young Santa bull for $1500. Ron Monro, Tarampa, sold milk-tooth Hereford heifers for $1150.

Darryl Herschell, Rosewood, sold 15-month-old Brahman heifers for $1160. Pitana Cattle, Ingoldsby, sold a line of quality Charbray heifers for $1140 and a Santa bull for $1720. Mrs Golding, Lockyer, sold Blonde heifers, 10 months, for $905.

Col Higgins, Ma Ma Creek, sold Charolais cross heifers, eight months for $840. Bruce Greer, Flagstone Creek, sold Brangus heifers, 10-12 months, for $915. Nev Stallan, Mt Tarampa, sold Brahman vealer heifers for $840.

Copleys Gully, Hazeldean, sold lines of Charbray cross steers for $1050 and $1020. Gary Stark, Forset Hill, sold Murray Grey weaner steers for $980 and four-month-old heifer calves for $510-$585. Bernie and Ruth Jackwitz, Grandchester, sold 10-month-old Charolais steers for $950.

Retschlag Dairies, Kilcoy, sold Angus cross vealer calves, with males making $820 and heifers $730. Joel Hill, Fernvale, sold a line of Santa heifers for $840. Russell Thomson, Caboolture, sold Charolais cross cows with young calves for $1375.
