Regional Livestock Exchange has confirmed it will resume selling at CQLX on April 15 after a negative test result from the staff member who had potentially been exposed to COVID-19.
This week's Gracemere cattle sale was cancelled upon RLX learning one of its staff members had close contact with a person who had tested positive to COVID-19.
AAM Investment Group managing director Garry Edwards apologised for any inconvenience incurred by vendors, buyers, agents, transporters and other service providers, but reiterated that human health was the number one priority.
"We thank everyone for their understanding and patience in working together to ensure we can keep livestock moving through our facilities, and maintain an active and competitive marketplace at this important time," Mr Edwards said.
