A large crowd saw cattle selling to very high rates, with several new buyers in operation. Younger, plainer cattle doubled in price compared to sales from a fortnight ago.
L Cassidy, Griffin, sold a pen of Angus cows for $1490.
Bailey Woodrow, Kilcoy, sold milk-tooth Charolais heifers for $1070.
ALB Pastoral, D'Aguilar, sold Brahman steers for $670, Droughtmaster steers for $620 and lines of Droughtmaster vealer heifers for $585-$595.
Gary Martin, Maleny, sold Murray Grey steers for $1340.
Peter May, Kurwongbah, sold 12-month-old Droughtmaster steers for $1070 and Greyman steer calves for $645.
Gary Mullock, Dulong, sold six-month-old Droughtmaster male calves for $740.
Michael Christie, Stanmore, sold 10-month-old Charbray steers for $810.
Rodney Kunde, Kilcoy, sold a line of Charolais-cross heifer calves, three-to-four months, for $425.
E Radtke, Redland Bay, sold Brahman males for $740. Keith Reid, Woodford, sold Charolais heifers for $750.
