The market improved for all descriptions with an outstanding yarding of quality grain-assisted cattle coming to hand.

Feeders and backgrounders were in high demand selling to a strong panel of buyers. Vealers and yearlings sold very well as did export.

Livestock P/L sold grain-fed 80 days cows and calves separately, with the cows selling for 263c/kg to return $1838 each and vealer heifers selling for 317c to return $877 making a combined total of $2715.

Droughtmaster-cross vealer steers were sold by B Krause, Highfields, for 309.2c, weighing 211kg, to return $653.
