The competition among title contenders remains tight as the ACA year passes the halfway point. Eltorrio, owned by Jaye Hall, is persistent in her quest to take out first place in the Riverina Champion Open Horse Competition, currently sitting on 258.82 points.
Harry, owned by Ken and Christine Tagg, is second with 252.81 points, followed by Hazelwood Conspiracy, owned by Evan and Kim Acton, on 185 points.
There has been little movement in the placings of the Ariat Champion Open Rider Competition, although the same cannot be said for the points, which have been steadily rising. Ben Hall remains first on 1343.21 points, however not far behind is Pete Comiskey with 949.63 points. Steve Comiskey completes the top three places with 893.7 points.
