The Royal Life Saving Society - Australia has brought its Swim My Way program to the Central West these school holidays, starting at Alpha last weekend. The program continues at Barcaldine, Jericho, Muttaburra and Aramac this week.
The program brings learn to swim and water safety skills to rural and remote communities.
Swim My Way includes free swimming lessons and/or water safety skills (including bronze medallion or bronze star for children 10 years and over), and professional development opportunities for school teachers and swim teachers/coaches. The program caters for all children three months of age and over.
