A 31-year-old Helidon man has been charged following an investigation into a fatal traffic crash, which took place at Pampas south-west of Toowoomba on December 27, 2018.
The man has been issued with a notice to appear at Millmerran Magistrates Court on September 20 for driving without due care and attention causing death.
At 5.10pm on December 27, two trucks travelling south on the Gore Highway collided with one another.
A seven-year-old boy, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, died at the scene.
The male drivers of both vehicles were transported to hospital for treatment with one man in a critical condition.
A 62-year-old man died due to his injuries on January 25 at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
