A Charolais bull from Brendale Charolais has topped the multi-vendor Advance Bull Sale at the Roma Saleyards today at $9000.

24-month-ol Brendale Noah (P) (R/F) was purchased by Geoff and Nardine Lucas, Gungary, Roma, and will be used over Charolais cows in their commerical herd.
Ms Lucas said they selected the 954kg bull, who had the largest EMA in the draft at 150sq.cm, for his length and structure.
Vendor, Brendan Scheiwe, Brendale Charolais, Tallegalla, was on hand to see 17 of his 22 Charolais bulls sell under the hammer for an average of $5676.
Fellow vendors, K5X Angus and Red Angus and Acacia Angus, also offloaded 28 Black Angus bulls for an average of $4429 and a clearance rate of 57 per cent.
The entire draft of 73 bulls achieved a clearance rate of 62pc with 45 bulls averaging $4990.
