THE 2019 Central Queensland Carcase Classic has come and gone - and by all measures has lived up to its name.
Classic Committee Glen Kelly said a "colossal" audience attended the awards dinner at the Frenchville Sports Club in North Rockhampton on July 25 in an appropriate nod to "stunning" entries despite harsh weather and financial conditions.
Tim and Lynette Olive, Apis Creek Pastoral Company, Marlborough, were the big winners on the evening.
They claimed honours in the Champion Grainfed Carcase, Grand Champion Grainfed Carcase, Champion Grainfed Pen and Most Successful Exhibitor.
Lawson and Bonni Geddes, Couti Outi Brangus, Kunwarara, were declared best in the Champion Grassfed Carcase class. The Geddes' were also winners of the Champion Grassfed Pen.
