THE Sydney Royal Show was the perfect platform for farmers to get together and have fun, and that is exactly what AuctionsPlus wanted them to do when they hosted a meet and greet with the AuctionsPlus team on April 12 on the cattle lawns.
AuctionsPlus CEO Angus Street said despite the tough and trying conditions that are continually affecting farmers, it is important to known their is a support body in the business and the people around you.
"We want to show we are here to talk to and support our clients through these conditions," Mr Street said.
The function was a perfect opportunity for beef producers at the show to meet the AuctionsPlus team that works behind the scenes with many of the sales they either sell or buy through, as well as relax for a night and talk to other exhibitors.
With over 120 people in attendance of the informal night, Mr Street said they will be looking at hosting the same event at the Royal Queensland Show in Brisbane later this year.
