Marshall Droughtmaster heifers joined to Santa Bulls two months sold at $1060 for 24 head.

Ben Healy, Dayboro, sold Droughtmaster cross steers two years at $1400.

Raymond and Dianne Bruxner, Beaudesert, sold Charolais cross steers two years at $1340 and 20 months at $1140.

Harzer & Co, Gayndah, had Angus cross steers 20 months at $1170 and $1030 and Charolais cross at $1020.

Plainer and light heifers found a cheaper market than future breeder heifers and quality feeder heifers. Most of the large number of young heifers sold in the 460-560 bracket.
