A total yarding of 2000 head of cattle were penned at Roma’s Prime Sale on Thursday. Steers over 550kg sold to 295c/kg  and averaged 273c, while steers 400- 550kg sold to 295c, averaging 259c. G Wilson, Killoran, Injune sold Charolais cross steers to 295c, reaching a top of $1606 to average $1512. Keith Proud, Glen Isle, Wallumbilla sold Droughtmaster cross steers to 290c, reaching a top of $1956 to average $1808. The Droughtmaster cross heifers sold to 271c, reaching a top of $1362 to average $1362.
