In a top of the table clash Dalby made the trip to Goondiwindi to decide who could run away from the rest and take the top spot. Goondiwindi were too good for the Wheatmen as their mobile pack provide a solid platform for the backs to work their magic and they ran away 34-19 winners in front of a large ladies day crowd at Riddles Oval.
Roma travelled into Highfields in what was a cracking game of rugby with plenty of running rugby on display to entertain the crowd. Both sides were looking for their first win after the gut-wrenching 17-all draw earlier in the season. Outside centre Seva Cirikisuva was a standout for the home team as he ran in two tries to give his side their first win in two years as they walked away with a 53-41 win at Highfields.
Condamine travelled into a wet Heritage Oval to take on the Bears as both sides looked to cement their place in the top five as just four rounds remain. It was the Cods who were up for the challenge as they were too good for the home side, running away to win 40-0 over the Bears.
USQ and Gatton both travelled to Warwick for their fixture. USQ were determined to come away with the win as they also looked to keep their place in the top five and that they did. Gatton struggled with many away on uni holidays but USQ were too good for the young side claiming a 46-0 win at Risdon Oval in Warwick.
