There were 1211 cattle yarded at Toogoolawah on Friday.

Consignments were from Blackbutt, Kilcoy, Pilton, Anduramba, Woodford, Kilkivan, Mt. Walker, Longreach, Currumbin, Ravensbourne, Mt. Perry and local areas.  

Feeder steers were stronger as was the top end of the weaner steers and heifers. Cows and calves firm with plainer cows easier. Charolais cross steers 20 mths a/c GB Pastoral, Blackbutt sold for $1330.  Santa steers a/c Eleanor Chaille, Esk made $1180. Ross and Tracey Tinney, Cooeeimbardi sold Droughtmaster steers for $1120.

Charolais cross steers a/c Bill and Jo Lindstrom, Lower Cressbrook sold for $1060.  Charbray weaner steers a/c Graham and Judith McPherson, Kilcoy sold for $1000 and $850. GB Pastoral sold Charolais cross weaner steers for $1000, $970, $950 and $920.

Droughtmaster cross steers a/c Stephen Martin, Mt. Stanley sold for $920, $910 and $810. Brian Sheahan, Blackbutt sold Charolais cross weaner steers for $810, $750 and $710. Greyman steers a/c Dennis Creasey, Palmwoods sold for $890. Droughtmaster cross weaner steers a/c Lance Biddle, Ravensbourne sold for $800 and $690.

Charolais cross heifers 20 mths a/c Melissa Thornton, Kilcoy sold for $950, $940 and $870. Bill and Jo Lindstrom sold Santa cross heifers for $920.

Peter and Brenda McGreevy, Anduramba sold Charbray heifers for $660 and $570.  Lachlan Barnes, Anduramba sold Santa cross heifers for $580.

Store condition Braford cross cows a/c Bill Wild sold for $740, $600 and $520.
