The introduction of new fabric manufacturing techniques has enabled Weed Gunnell to develop a weed control matting that: lets water and air pass through to the soil below; lasts in Australia climatic conditions; and stops weed growth.
Weed Gunnel is a degradable and permeable weed mat treated to allow water and air to pass through, to keep the soil below healthy and aerobic.
It is also UV stabilised, to extend its lifespan to three years.
Slits to suit the crops you are growing can be pre-cut into Weed Gunnel matting to make planting easier.
Weed Gunnel has also introduced a range of Horticultural Fleece to protect crops from frost and weather extremes as well as attacks from insects.
As Horticultural Fleece is available in different thickness, it can be used as a floating row cover or over tunnel structures.
