DESPITE 2018 so far not producing the rain which many Qld cattle producers wanted, once again Springside Simmentals’ cows have proven they can meet any challenge.
From 1975 to today, the stud’s purpose has remained the same: to be commercially orientated and to keep the focus on producing high quality cattle that will maximise a return for the producer
With careful and gradual genetic selection, Springside Simmentals has consistently bred large numbers of high quality bulls and females without compromise to performance, functionality or finishing ability.
With this in mind, the stud undertook three artificial insemination (AI) programs. With these calves due July to September this year and embryos purchased from America and Australia, the stud is expecting some exciting new genetics that will further enhance the herd.
