Yamaha Motor Australia has expanded its range of SSV and ATV models with exciting new options for both the man on the land and the recreational off-road enthusiast.

Farmers need vehicles that are reliable, can be tailored to tasks and are easy to service. Blue utility vehicles tick all those boxes – like the Kodiak 450, a Yamaha spokesman said.

Yamaha engineers listened to farmers when developing this new mid-size Kodiak.

“You wanted more off-road capability, more comfort and more convenience,” he said. “Our engineers produced a new chassis with a wider footprint, improved ergonomics and a long list of features that make the new Kodiak easier to ride.”

More recently Yamaha introduced the all-new Wolverine X4 SSV. This has four full size seats and ample leg room for all passengers.

At the core of the X4 is a 847cc twin cylinder engine that shares technology from Yamaha’s high-tech motorcycle range.

Along with all models in the utility range, this new pair sport Yamaha’s Ultramatic drive system.

“Ultramatic has proven to be the most reliable CVT system on the market,” he said.

“It provides constant belt tension that prolongs belt life way beyond other brands. The inclusion of a sprag clutch means our utility vehicles feature the most natural and effective downhill engine braking available. Add On-Command push button 2WD/4WD and Diff Lock 4WD, electric power steering and marine grade electrical connections and it’s no wonder farmers and commercial users keep buying blue.”

The Kodiak 450 and Wolverine X4 integrate wiring and mounts for a wide range of Yamaha accessories.

Both units are designed with easy-access service points so fluids can be drained without removing essential undercarriage protection.

Buying a utility vehicle is simple thanks to low, three per cent Yamaha Farmer Finance.

The application process is easy and can be completed at any Yamaha dealership.

There are no deposits or financials required, just a driving licence, rates notice and bank account details.

Don’t miss the end of financial year sale that covers all utility ATV, SSVs and a range of motorcycles.
