Choosing a rainwater tank is hard, but Australian-owned and operated companies, Tanks Direct, Ayr, and Clark Tanks, Dalby, can provide a wide range of products to make the decision easier.
As part of the National Poly Industries (NPI) group, the food-grade polyethylene water tank manufacturers and distributors are committed to providing quality products designed to meet the needs of rural and residential Australia.
Tanks Direct general manager Nadine Crawford said the NPI tanks are strong, stylish, affordable and designed to withstand the harsh Australian weather.
“In addition Tanks Direct and Clark Tanks offer a money-back guarantee that our tanks are moulded in one piece and transported in one piece, ensuring a stronger and cleaner tank when delivered,” she said.
“All round tanks also come with a 25-year warranty.”
Tanks Direct deliver north to Cape Tribulation, inland to Julia Creek and south to Emerald, servicing a 600 kilometre radius area from the Ayr-based manufacturing plant. Clark Tanks distribution network stretches across Central and Western Qld,and as far south as northern New South Wales.
Ms Crawford said popular rain water tank options for home owners, farmers and agribusiness operators are the CT5000, 22,730 litre (5000 gallon), and TD5000, 21,500L (5000 gallon) models which Clark Tanks and Tanks Direct have on special during April.
These tanks have a range of features including:
Ribbed walls: Tanks have ribbed side walls for extra strength and to help support the sides of the tank when full, are manufactured from food grade polyethylene and meet the Australian Standards for food (2070) and water (2040) storage. The material used ensures NPI tanks will not rust or corrode, has no fibres and will not taint the water taste.
No seams: Another important feature of the NPI range is the rotational moulding manufacturing process used which means there are no seams anywhere on the tanks, ensuring there are no weak points where leaks can occur.
Ms Crawford said in addition to their stock water and domestic water tanks, which range in size from 500L to a new 50,050L (11,000 gallon) model, the company also sells feed and water troughs, molasses tanks, cartage and chemical tanks, roller lickers and pumps and accessories.
Clark Tanks also provide customers with an extensive range of stock water and domestic water tanks, in 1000L to 46,800L models.
In addition, Clark Tanks offer cup and saucer tanks, silos, chemical and molasses tanks and bulk feed options.
