Quality backgrounders met a very competitive panel of buyers at Moreton cattle sale this week.

Vendor Carney’s Ck Pastoral of Carney’s Creek sold Euro cross yearling heifers for 297.2c weighing 261kg to return $776.  Carney’s Ck Pastoral also sold Charbray cross steers for 305.2c weighing 318kg to return $971.

E Retschlag of Nanango sold euro cross vealer heifers for 276.2c weighing 270kg to return $745.  

Vendor Harzer and Co of Gayndah sold Droughtmaster cross grass ox for 284.2c weighing 615kg to return $1747.  Santa cross feeder heifers account Metcalfe and Durre of Sth Maclean sold for 268.2c weighing 370kg to return $992.

Tinton Grazing of Esk sold Greyman cross grain assist steers for 289.2c weighing 445kg to return $1286. Tinton Grazing also sold Greyman cross grain assist heifers for 274.2c weighing 367 kg to return $1006.
