Foundation organiser Toni Hart said they were extremely excited by the amount of money they were able to raise.
“We hadn't really done anything for breast cancer before and everyone just jumped right behind us so it was fantastic,” she said.
“We decided to go with the breast cancer research because we wanted to focus on the prevention and cure of cancer and breast cancer especially.”
The money was raised through raffles, merchandise sales and an auction of service fees for various stallions.
Ms Hart said the support they received from everyone involved in the campdraft and rodeo had been amazing.
“We had a fantastic raffle and all the vendors on the grounds all jumped in and put prizes in,” she said.
“And then we also have our Classic Ladies Foundation caps.
“They are super popular and we sold out of those caps in forty minutes.”
Owners of previous Fraser’s Stallion Draft winners and runners-up were also approached about donating service fees for their stallions.
The auction of the service fess raised $11,500.
The Classic Ladies Foundation is an initiative that came out of the Tamworth Landmark Classic horse sale.
Ms Hart said the foundation had been raising money for several years for various charities including the Daniel Morcombe Foundation and CareFlight.
“We formed the foundation to have a really targeted approach to raising money for charities that had a direct impact on rural families,” she said.
This is not the first time the Classic Ladies Foundation has attended the Warwick campdraft and rodeo.
Ms Hart said last year they raised $10,000 for the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.
“It was coincidence that it happened to actually be on that day, so it worked out really well,” she said.
