A 70-year-old man has been killed in a two vehicle crash east of Charleville yesterday afternoon.

Early investigations suggest that about 12.30pm, a utility towing a caravan attempted to turn across the Warrego Highway to access a rest stop on the side of the road when a semi-trailer collided with the utility.
The 70-year-old male driver of the vehicle from Finch Hatton died at the scene.
The passenger, a 72-year-old woman, was transported to the Charleville base Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck, a 64-year-old man, was transported to the Charleville Base Hospital suffering shock.
The Warrego Highway was closed for approximately two hours while investigations were commenced.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
