Eleven stunning showgirls graced the stage at the 2017 Brisbane Ekka for the official announcement of the Queensland Country Life Miss Showgirl.
Each showgirl introduced themselves and discussed their interests with MC Jill Temple in front of an intrigued crowd.
History was made with the North West and Central Queensland Showgirl, Claire Jackson, 22, winning the competition. This was the first time this sub-chamber had a winning finalist in the competition.
Ms Jackson was overwhelmed with excitement and could not believe her achievement.
Runner Up was North Queensland Showgirl, Marinka Zanetich, 21.
Miss Popular was Jessica Cummings, 27, Mudgeeraba, representative of South East Queensland.
