THERE was no wiping the smile off JJ Lamb’s face at Paradise Lagoons on Sunday, when the Taroom woman took out the Wilangi Brahmans Ladies Draft.

JJ, from Gwambegwane, Taroom, said most of her horse work is mustering alongside her husband at home, where they manage 52,610 hectares.
She said with the exception of a win at Chinchilla, she has never walked away from a major campdraft with a trophy.
“It's awesome - I didn't think I'd ever get it,” she said.

JJ was 13 years old when she began campdrafting, and the sport runs in the family – with her two children Toni and Lane both competing in the juvenile final.
JJ said she was stoked with her win on Regret, and said she loved the atmosphere at Paradise Lagoons.
