SCOTT Schoo trains horses for campdrafting and challenges fulltime at home at Yandoon, Capella, and he said nothing is a better testament to his business than winning big at Paradise Lagoons two years in a row.
Mr Schoo took out the Elders Futurity Draft for the second year running on Sunday, with 167 points.
Coming in second was Steve Comiskey on Mr Sylvester, 164 points, and in third was Warren Thompson with 163 points on My Artist.
Mr Schoo said he has been involved in drafting he entire life, and said coming back to Paradise Lagoons to see another win was “fantastic”.
“It's the second year in a row I've won the futurity here so I'm pretty pleased I was able to back it up,” he said.
”We've been coming since the very first one, probably last year was our most successful when we won three events here, but it's just a great event, really well run, and all the best horses in the country are here.
“It's where you want to be and it's who you want to be competing against.”
Mr Schoo runs his professional horse training business with his wife Kimberley, and children Bobbilyn, four, and Judd, 18 months.
