SOMETIME on Thursday, Brisbane street artists Joel Fergie and Travis Vinson plan to sit down with a schooner of beer looking out at the silo artwork they have finally completed in the small town of Thallon.
After 500 litres of paint and 500 spray cans, the duo’s mammoth painting on four operational grain silos will be officially launched on Thursday in a Queensland first.
The men, known as The Zookeeper and Drapl in the art world, have used nothing but a small A4 impression of their design featuring images captured by locals of the town’s icons; producers, sheep and the river.
