Buyer attendance was generally very good, and included some additional support from an interstate processor.
Medium and heavy weight yearling steers to feed experienced very little change while the medium weight yearling heifers to feed received a small price improvement.
The younger end of the heavy grown steers to export slaughter was dearer.
Prices for cows varied, however at the time of this interim report, average prices were within 3c of the previous week.
Medium weights yearling steers to feed made from 236.2c to 356.2c and averaged 340.8c/kg.
Light weight yearling heifers averaged 321.8c/kg.
Grown steers in the 500-600kg range made from 290c to 320.2c and averaged 308.1c/kg.
Heavy cows sold from 231.2c to 258.2c and averaged 242.9c/kg. The best bull made 332.2c/kg.
